The success of any law firm usually begins with the ability of everyone working there being able to pull together to achieve success. This makes our team building programs for law firms all the more valuable. We can bring everyone together and see the value of being able to work together towards common goals.
THEY improv has worked with over half of the Fortune 500. This means that we have successfully provided a wide variety of programs that have achieved great success for our clients. We now bring those skills more specifically tailored to the legal environment.
Below are just a few examples of things that we can do for your law firm team building needs. Simply click on the links for more information if you like or call our offices and we'd be glad to talk to you about how we can help you meet your goals more efficiently.
Team Building Workshops. These seldom take on the characteristics of a workshop. More often it is a comedy class or workshop where teams laugh and work together on fun projects. This lets people bond and develop a group history that serves to give them good memories of bonding.
Scavenger Hunts. These take on a variety of forms but usually are done in public areas, such as a downtown area, at an outdoor shopping area or inside of a mall. Teams are asked to answer a variety of questions that are within the area, work on puzzles and take photos. This emphasizes teamwork and thinking outside of the box. Additional staff can be brought in to transform the event into more of an Amazing Race with challenges given that have to be worked on by the groups. Rather than seeing it as team building, they think these additional activities are part of the game. This means that they gain the benefit without the stigma.
Mini-Olympiads. These aren't like a traditional Olympics. We rarely get anyone to run or do anything too physically challenging. After all, if we're improving your attorneys, we would hardly want to face them in court. These games are usually more Minute-To-Win-It styled with each group playing one game, usually in a larger room. This means that if you have eight teams, there would be one team at each of eight games. They'd then rotate through the games until every group had played each game. The highest scoring team wins.
Entertainment. Sometimes law firms desire to have their team building less formal. We've come up with a variety of entertainment options that also serve team building needs. These can include improv comedy, game shows, murder mysteries and a variety of other ideas to help blow of steam and provide a shared experience for everyone in attendance.
We understand the need for confidentiality and review all such agreements to ensure a level of secrecy to maintain your relationship with your clients. We will usually not take control of work product and rather not take any material off-location to help ensure our relationships with our clients. Simply ask us for more information about how far we will go to protect our clients.
Whether for Appellate, Business, Civil, Constitutional, Criminal, Entertainment, Family (including Trusts, Estates, Divorce, Elder and Juvenile), Intellectual Property, Medical, Military, Securities or Tax Law, or any of the other branches, we either already have a program that can assist practitioners or can develop a special program to improve performance.
